SMARTdiagnostics detected an increase in acceleration readings in early October, which ultimately were due to looseness and a bearing fault.
Fan was rebalanced, the cracks on the motor base were rewelded, belts replaced, and the sheaves were aligned. The customer informed the KCF team in late November that the fan’s levels returned to a healthy state.
