KCF was founded in November 2000 at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania.

KCF represent the last names of our three founders: Professor Gary Koopmann, Dr. Weicheng Chen, and Dr. Jeremy Frank.

The company has grown organically and remains private and employee-owned today.

KCF is an American company. All of the hardware, software, and services are designed and assembled in the USA.

KCF’s consistent growth has helped hundreds of manufacturers nationwide transform their operations and create new jobs.

KCF has received recognition and awards as a top SBIR contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense.

SOC 2 Compliance is part of the Service Organization Control reporting platform defined by the American Institute of CPAs. It intends to ensure the safety and privacy of customer data, and it cites the criteria required to maintain robust information security, which fall into five categories: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy.

ISO 27001 Certified

KCF has demonstrated a high level of dedication to protecting sensitive data through a systematic approach to information security management, including threat monitoring, breach mitigation, and data protection measures that safeguard sensitive machine health data and internal systems.
